New in the Jewelry & Metals Studio in 2020

New in the Jewelry & Metals Studio in 2020

Registration is open now for visual and performing arts classes and workshops in the winter/spring 2020 session, and the Jewelry & Metals Studio is welcoming back two teachers: Ingrid Donaldson and Jonathan Brown. 

Find Ingrid leading two sessions of the Beginning Jewelry classes (one beginning in Jan. and one beginning in April), held on Monday evenings, 6-9pm for 7 weeks. Students in this intro class can expect to make 3-4 pieces while in the class and will begin making on the very first day!

Find Jonathan teaching the Beginning Fabrication (Mondays, 9:30am-12:30pm; Jan. 27-April 27) and Intermediate to Advanced Independent Studio classes (Fridays, 10am-1pm; Jan. 17-Mar. 13, and Mar. 20-May 1).

More about Ingrid:

Ingrid Donaldson is an Arizona artist working in metalsmithing and sculpture and owns Blink Gallery in Scottsdale. Her design aesthetic and personal style have gained national and international recognition for her innovative interpretation of science through art. With an MFA from Arizona State University, Ingrid has been teaching for more than 20 years. 

More about Jonathan:

Jonathan Leo Brown received a BFA in Fine Arts from University of New Mexico and an MFA in Fine Arts from Arizona State University. He has taught at Santa Fe Community College, Arizona State University, Central Arizona College, and Mesa Arts Center among others. He enjoys creating small-scale sculptural objects as well as containers and jewelry.
