Mesa Arts Center's Art Studios programs offers several options for continuing your glass and ceramic projects at home, including clay and porcelain materials for purchase and firing services by appointment. 

When picking up materials or dropping off projects for firing services, please wear a mask for your safety and the safety of Mesa Arts Center staff. 

Clay & Supplies (For registered students only)

Clay purchases and firing are limited to currently enrolled students at this time, we apologize for any inconvenience. Clay inventory is limited and changes daily. To pick up clay simply bring your receipt with you to your scheduled class at the ceramics studio and a staff member can help you to select the correct clay variety.

Firing Services (For registered students only)

Clay

Cone 06 bisque and cone 6 glaze firings: $34.50 per half cubic foot (approximately 12" x 12" x 6")

How it works

Please contact Jesse Armstrong (Jesse.Armstrong@mesaartscenter.com) to arrange an appointment and determine the size of kiln firing needed for your ceramic items. 

1/2 cubic foot of space = 1 qty firing fee of $34.50

Glass

Mesa Arts Center Glass Studio is offering kiln rental services for Glass fusing/slumping. Space is limited and on a first come first serve basis. Studio personnel to program kiln schedules per student request (Full, Tack or Slump). Kiln paper included, select molds available for additional cost.

How it works

To make an appointment, contact Troy Moody (Troy.Moody@mesaartscenter.com) to schedule a time for artwork drop-off and pick-up on Tuesdays between 1 - 3 pm. 

Open Studio

Ceramics

For each class registered students receive one 3-hour open studio time per week. Additional open studio time can be purchased if a student would like to attend an extra open studio time that week. Additional open studio times must be used during designated open studio times:

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-4pm and Thursday from 6-9pm
