The Aliens are Coming…to Mesa

April 25, 2018

Beginning Friday, May 4, the ‘aliens’ of Fantastic Planet are landing in downtown Mesa. This larger-than-life installation of 6 inflatable, illuminated humanoid sculptures created by Australian artist Amanda Parer will arrive in Mesa for a 10-day stay, May 4-13, 2018, marking its premiere in the United States!

Greet the ‘aliens’ on Friday, May 4, 6-10 p.m., with a free kick off celebration hosted on the north end of Mesa Arts Center’s campus. See 3 of the 6 sculptures, hear live music, see dance and atmospheric performances, find food trucks, tasty drinks and more.

Many special events and opportunities are planned for the duration of the alien’s stay in Mesa. Check out the full event schedule at www.mesaartscenter.com/fantasticplanet.
