You're Invited

This was all I knew about Mesa when I moved here last year. I didn’t know there was an arts center. I didn’t know there was a thriving arts scene. I didn’t know about anything.

Fast forward to the present. I now know Mesa has an amazing arts center with shows, festivals, studio programs, and more. I know about Creative Catalysts and the countless activities we have because of our supportive arts family. I know about Mesa Bazaar and that locals love making buttons! I have been exposed to the “art scene” of Mesa and my, what a beautiful thing it is.

The most special thing about being a newbie to the Mesa arts scene is that you get to experience the family network that exists. I get to watch and see how others join. How this family reaches out to those of us on the outside who are a little trepidatious on stepping into such a vibrant and creative community. I get to see how they “invite people to the party.” They have welcomed me in and now I have one amazing group to call my family.
