This class is for students who are ready for deeper feedback, honest conversations about their work, and intentional growth. You'll refine your throwing skills by working in multiples with clear goalsinstead of making one bowl or one mug, you'll set a target: make five. Through repetition, you'll develop greater control over proportion, thickness, trimming, and handle placement while learning to recognize patterns in your work and understand what's improving and where you can push further. Expect guided discussion, technical refinement, and supportive critique aimed at elevating your craftsmanship and design. At the end of the session, you'll gather for a Table Talk and Potlucka shared meal using your handmade pots while reflecting on progress, process, and next steps in a relaxed, supportive group conversation. Prerequisite: Beginning wheel throwing course or equivalent experience. Clay is available for purchase from the box office and may be picked up the first day of class.
