Stay out late with us! Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is staying open late twice a month for Art After Dark. Visit on the second Friday of each month from 10:00 AM–10:00 PM or the third Thursday of each month from 10:00 AM–8:00 PM to enjoy extended hours, explore the galleries at your own pace and immerse yourself in art after the sun goes down. Plus, keep an eye out for special programs and activities offered during these times!

Crochet Drop-in Activity

Spend your evening crafting with us! Drop in to Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum now through Jun 28 to learn basic crochet techniques and to contribute your creations to the newest installation from wearable technology designer, Galina Mihaleva. Titled ‘Interlaced: The Fabric of Connection,’ this interactive installation will incorporate handmade textiles created by members of the community into a responsive environment featuring light and sound. The installation will be on-view during the Fall Exhibition Season, opening Aug 14, 2026. All basic materials are provided!

Join us for a night of storytelling with the South Mountain Storytelling Institute. Storytellers will tell folktales, myths, as well as personal stories based on the theme: Hook, Line, and Sinker.
