The “Latina Divinas II” concert pays homage to the global impact of Latina Artists of the Americas. These influential artists have left their mark on the world stage, and their music will be celebrated during this performance. We pay tribute to Cuban singer Celia Cruz, Mexican-American singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez, Cuban-American singer Gloria Estefan, Mexican-American singer Lila Downs, Spanish singer Rocío Dúrcal, Mexican singer Lola Beltran, Mexican American singer Jenni Rivera and Costa Rican-Mexican Singer Chavela Vargas to name a few. Their music will be celebrated and delivered our own local award-winning Latina Singers and Musicians of Phoenix.

Featuring the “Latina Divinas” of Phoenix including singers Carmela Ramirez, Mary Hurtado, Olivia Calderon, Diana Lee, Debi Dominguez and Angie Gomez-Byrd. Guest musicians include the beautiful sounds of Mariachi Sonido de Mexico.

Dance and motion will be soulfully executed by “Ballet Folklorico Quetzali,” directed by Vanessa Ramirez and “On1Collective” Salsa Dancers.

All of the artists in this production are excited to bring you their musical interpretations. As Latina artists in Phoenix, we are proud to partake in this culturally rich and historical moment. We understand that arts are universal and can unite hearts. Without even speaking the same language. Join us, as we deliver all the artistic gifts we have to give. Journey with us and become one as we celebrate “Latinas Divinas.”
