Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum opens its fall 2026 season with six new free exhibitions exploring identity, culture, community and artistic expression. This season features “Recon/Figured,” “BRUTAL BEAUTY,” Samira Hemmat’s “IN CONCRETE CONTRAST: A Story of Withheld Spring,” Perla Segovia’s “RETABLO SONORENSE,” a new exhibition by artist Zarco Guerrero and Galina Mihaliva’s “Interlaced: The Fabric of Connection.”
The fall 2026 season is presented as part of Craft in America’s national “Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026” initiative, a year-long Semiquincentennial collaboration highlighting the importance of handmade work throughout American history and in contemporary life.
The free opening reception on Fri, Sep 11, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 PM, includes musical entertainment, light refreshments and a cash bar.
