Previous glass blowing experience required.

Intermediate glass blowing provides a venue for students to refine their skills at creating basic forms and adapt that knowledge to create original works. All students are required to have some experience blowing soft glass—either having taken beginner glassblowing one or more times, or several months of experience at other studios/schools. Students are encouraged to consult a MAC glassblowing instructor to evaluate if they are ready to progress to intermediate classes. Weekly demonstrations will expose students to a broad range of techniques and a deeper understanding of the material. Students are encouraged to research and sketch outside of class to develop projects to pursue in class. The curriculum is flexible, and demonstrations can be adjusted to address student goals and projects. Previous glass blowing experience is required. Supplies are included.
