Internationally renowned conductor Riccardo Muti served as the orchestra's tenth music director and is now its Music Director Emeritus for Life. His leadership has been distinguished by the strength of his artistic partnership with the orchestra, command of repertoire of the past and present, including 17 world premieres, as well as 12 recordings together with 3 Grammy awards among them.
With over 40 years of experience, he has led prestigious orchestras, including Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Teatro alla Scala. Muti holds numerous honors, including the Italian Cavaliere di Gran Croce, British Knight Commander of the French Legion of Honor. He maintains close ties to the Vienna Philharmonic.

Downtown Mesa parking can be limited during busy events. Parking is $10 and is available in our south lot or in the Sirrine Street Garage (only open for public parking after 5 PM on weekdays, and anytime on the weekends). To secure an accessible parking spot, we strongly recommend arriving at least one hour before showtime.

Theater Events Bag Policy:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, each patron is allowed to bring one bag into the facility. This includes purses, backpacks and similar personal items.
Exceptions:
Medical bags and other essential items required for health or accessibility are exempt from this limit. These items will not count toward your one-bag allowance.
Bags must be no larger than 18"x14"x8"
