This is an Arts in Mind event, for adults living with dementia and their care partner.
In this easy, approachable class, students will “paint” with wool using a special felting needle. This is an easy, meditative art form that requires no prior experience. Students will choose from a variety of wool backgrounds and they will get to choose colors to “paint” in their image. Creativity is encouraged and students are also welcome to select blank templates and just play with colors. This tactile art form is a relaxing and fun way to spend some time engaging with the creative self. All students will take home their own needle felting kit allowing them to have the tools needed in continuing to needle felt into the future. All supplies are provided.
