This is an Arts in Mind event, for adults living with dementia and their care partner.
What better time than the holidays to make our own holiday cactus? Students will take wool in various forms and create their own holiday cactus or succulent. We will be stringing wool, sewing and assembling felt balls, and needle felting our own holiday plant. No experience is necessary. Students will get to learn a few different techniques and come away with a special piece that can be displayed year round. All students will take home their own needle felting kit allowing them to have the tools needed in continuing to needle felt into the future. All supplies are provided.
