Join Arizona Cantilena Chorale for their debut at the Mesa Arts Center as they present "Love Waltzed In", a choral feast of love songs ranging from Brahms and Irving Berlin to the Beatles and Queen. The centerpiece of the concert is the "Liebeslieder Waltzes" by Johannes Brahms. This fan favorite work is composed of relatively short movements that elicit different emotions and moods. Scored for voices and piano four hands, this piece is an intimate collection of love songs and poems. Established in Mesa in 2005, the Arizona Cantilena Chorale is conducted by David Schildkret and accompanied by pianist Robert Mills. Special guest artist, Russell Ryan, will join Dr. Mills for the Brahms four-hand piano compositions.
