In celebration of Mesa Arts Center’s 10-year anniversary at its present location, Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is pleased to showcase the work of ten pivotal Chicano artists, whose work has become the cornerstone of Cheech Marin’s collection. In turn, those ten artists were asked: “What artist should we be watching?” The selected artists were not limited to the Chicano aesthetic and represent both emerging and established artists at an important juncture in their career.
