An introductory studio course emphasizing color mixing as it relates to traditional representation taught by nationally acclaimed artist Michael Tole through Benedictine University at Mesa.
Earn 3 credits towards your college degree or refresh your artistic skills during this amazing one-time opportunity! For over a decade, Tole has exhibited his art professionally in Dallas, San Francisco, New York, and at numerous art fairs. He is currently represented by Conduit Gallery in Dallas, and Devin Borden Fine Art in Houston. Tole’s work has evolved from photorealistic paintings of retail interiors to his current work, which explores human interactions through highly realistic figurative paintings. His work has been reviewed in publications such as Art Forum International, The Dallas Morning News, and the San Francisco Chronicle. His awards include the Kimbrough Grant from the Dallas Museum of Art and the $50,000 Hunting Art Prize. http://www.michaeltole.com/
Tole will be teaching classes through Benedictine University at Mesa during the Fall 2013 semester. These semester-long classes will earn 3 semester hours of college credit at Benedictine University–Mesa and are offered to the public at a special discounted rate of $99.
