We offer a variety of beautiful and unique settings for your wedding event or reception. With venues ranging from casual to contemporary, we can create a memorable experience for you and your guests.
Located adjacent to the Mesa Contemporary Arts building on the international award winning Mesa Arts Center campus, this elegant venue offers space for up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception or up to 80 guests for a seated function with dance area. Wedding ceremonies can be coordinated for up to 100 guests. Access to five contemporary arts galleries for your guests is available for an additional rental fee.
Our most popular location for wedding ceremonies, the Arizona Museum of Natural History offers an airy rooftop with sunset views that can accommodate up to 120 guests for a ceremony and dinner reception with dance area. Rental of the Rooftop Terrace includes access to the Circular Gallery to use as an additional cocktail reception space for your guests to enjoy. Maximum capacity for the Rooftop Terrace is 150 for a sit-down reception (no dance area) or up to 175 guests for a standing reception.
Tucked away within the i.d.e.a. Museum grounds, the Outdoor Room has the capacity to host a stand-up reception for up to 150 guests in a relaxed setting. The adjacent Atrium is a spacious outdoor area with mature trees, twinkle lights, and covered walkways into the main museum building. Both spaces can be combined for a guest capacity of up to 250 people.
The Alliance Terrace, located just outside the mezzanine level of the Ikeda Theater, offers the perfect setting for a special pre- or post-show celebration. This space can accommodate up to 100 for a stand-up reception or up to 60 for a seated function.
This terrace on the international award winning Mesa Arts Center campus looks out onto the Shadow Walk Plaza and the unique architecture of our campus. The Joanie Flatt Terrace is ideally situated for a daytime event with wedding ceremony seating or standing reception space for up to 175 guests.
The central water feature of the History Courtyard provides a backdrop to a casual cocktail reception for up to 50 guests.
Dinner on a stage? Yes! Impress your guests with a truly unique setting. We have the capacity to host food functions in the Ikeda Theater for up to 300 guests.

Need space for a large wedding reception but still want to have an outdoor ceremony? We have partnered with 12 West Main Event Center, Tre Bella and The Castle on Main to offer special pricing on wedding ceremonies at our facilities when renting reception space with our partners. To hold a date on the calendar, you will need to fill out a special event information form. After a date is put on hold for your event, we will contact you to discuss your event in detail and will prepare an estimate of costs.
We will send you a license agreement once the estimate is approved and the date and times are confirmed. A non-refundable deposit is due upon signing.

Q: What times can we host an event?
A: Facilities at the Arizona Museum for Youth are rented in a four-hour block. The Arizona Museum of Natural History rents spaces in six-hour blocks. Set-up begins an hour and a half before event start. Both facilities offer per-hour pricing for additional rental time. Please email@example.com to inquire about time blocks on other spaces.
Q: What equipment is available for rental?

Q: Do you have a preferred vendor list?
A: We do not have any restrictions on vendors for items such as equipment, decorations, or music. Please contact Event Services if you would like vendor recommendations.
Q: What is your alcohol policy?
A: All alcohol service must be provided through our designated liquor license provider. Our providers can offer a range of options to fit your event needs, including full hosted bars, cash bars, and champagne toasts.
