Jewelry & Metals Studio Equipment
Two studios are fully equipped for teaching the wide variety of jewelry and metalsmithing courses offered at the Mesa Arts Center.
Studio A has professional jeweler’s benches with flexible shafts and a variety of hand tools for each student. The equipment inventory includes a wide variety of forming stakes, shears, various finishing machines, vacuum and centrifugal casters, vulcanizing and wax injectors, rolling mills, hydraulic presses and much more.
Studio B has facilities for lapidary work including Diamond Pacific lapidary grinders, Graves faceting machines, a 24”slab saw and trim saws. It also houses the kilns for enameling and precious metal clay.
