Are you ready to get creative? We hope you are because Mesa Arts Center is looking for the most creative image to market

spark! MESA’S FESTIVAL of CREATIVITY – March 13-17, 2013.

spark! celebrates the amazing artistic ideas people create to share with the community in a one-of-a-kind festival experience. So, sharpen your pencils & let the creativity inspire you.

What we are looking for:

We need a design that is so interesting, dynamic, attention-grabbing, whimsical, mind-bending or otherwise imaginative that it will blow us away. Some further crucial information to help you create the remarkable poster:

-          Need to include event name:

           spark! MESA’S FESTIVAL of CREATIVITY

-          Include the dates of the event: March 13-17

-          Include Mesa Arts Center logo

Poster Contest Official Rules

The Prize

1 winner will be featured on the Mesa Arts Center website & blog, receive $1,000, and poster featured for publicity and marketing the 2013 Creativity Festival.

Submitting Entries

Submission must be completely original. All posters need submitted via email to connect@mesaartscenter.com.  The design size of the file must not exceed printed size of 11”x17”. The design should be saved at a resolution that will enable us to zoom in to see details during judging, but the file size must not exceed 2MB. Files accepted as .pdf only. Include your first and last name, email address, and phone #. There is no entry fee.

The Deadline

Work must have been created between Nov 1, 2012 and Jan 13, 2013. The deadline is Jan 13, 2013 at 11:59 PM EST. Maximum of 3 submissions per person. Entries will not be accepted after the deadline.

Other Important Stuff

Winning entrant grants Mesa Arts Center the right to reproduce images of their work on Mesa Arts Center’s website and in other digital and printed materials. These include but are not limited to the rights to edit, reproduce and distribute on printed and digital materials. Mesa Arts Center assumes all entries are original and are the works and property of the entrant, with all rights granted therein. All entries must be 100% original work by the artist. No use of a third party's copyrighted material is allowed in any way, even if it is allowable under Fair Use guidelines. Mesa Arts Center is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant and will not become involved in copyright disputes. Mesa Arts Center will notify winner by Jan 31, 2013, after judging is complete. Winner and top entries will be shared on mesaartscenter.com and 1Emain.blogspot.com by Jan 31, 2013.
